Am 14./15. Juni 2026 nutzte ein Angreifer einen Fehler an der Abrechnungsgrenze der seit 2023 eingestellten Aztec-Connect-Rollup-Verträge auf Ethereum aus und erbeutete in zwei Wellen zusammen rund 4,3 Mio. USD. Aztec Labs hatte für den unveränderlichen Vertrag seit April 2024 keine Admin- oder Pause-Rechte mehr und konnte nicht eingreifen; das aktive Aztec Network war nicht betroffen.
