Ältere Bitcoin-Wallets (erzeugt 2020 bis 2021) nutzten einen schwachen Zufallsgenerator mit nur 20 Bit Entropie, der Anbieter machte das im Mai 2021 öffentlich. Das Milk-Sad-Team fand 8.757 betroffene Wallets, über die zwischen 11/2020 und 10/2024 rund 548,9 BTC liefen. Die meisten Nutzer hatten ihr Guthaben nach der Warnung umgezogen.
