Die Anti-Piraterie-Organisation Rights Alliance verklagte OVPN im Auftrag von Filmstudios auf Herausgabe von Kundendaten zu einem mutmaßlichen The-Pirate-Bay-Betreiber. Das Patent- und Marktgericht Stockholm wies die Klage im September 2020 ab, da OVPN als No-Logs-Anbieter keine herausgabefähigen Daten besaß.
